Here are my final 16 photos that I believe are some of my best

ree

This photo is of my friend’s dog Rocky. I made sure to have the background blurred so that It would have a better focus on him.

ree

The main focus is the whole of the cat, but for a bit of spice I made it so that it focused on her foot and blurred her and the background so it looks you you are looking from a far.

ree

Here I took my dog out to a big field and let him pose for some pictures. I love this photo because of how bright it is and the textures from all the stuff around my dog.

ree

The yellow from the buttercup flowers contrasts perfectly with my dog’s dark fur. It also has a nice blue sky in the back, this picture gives off a lively feel.

ree

My dog sat in the water so I used it as my opportunity and took some photos, but this was the best one. It has the main focus (my dog) more to the side but not touching it. The lighting and colouring is also quite bright but nice to see.

ree

I played with burst on my phone and took this motion photo where my dog is in mid run facing the camera, the background has a partial blur and many rocks.

ree

I grabbed some berries from my freezer and thought it would make a good photo as the frost covered the top of them. Colours and whites are sprinkled together to make the photo feel cold.

ree

Here I was experimenting with some lighting and I thought of this. I drew a design on paper then wrapped it around a bottle and had a light source at the back. It has a nice warm vibe with contrast and pattern, there is much to see.

ree

The angle and placement of these books is what brings this photo together, I thought it would be something different but also a perfect fit for my final 16. The colours and lighting really help bring this all together.

ree

Here the main focus on the fire in the candle, it gives off a warm lighting while the blurred background is a cool colour. It’s a calm and collected yet nice to see picture.

ree

I took this on a mirror and sprayed the perfume and mirror with water to add a moist rainy vibe. The colour pops off and makes the photo very nice.

ree

I took this as my cat was sleeping, there is much texture especially with her face. She gives off a fluffy vibe and makes the photo cute. The light from the back shines onto her fur.

ree

I organized the top of this surface to look a little busy but to add a main focus on the stone cat. The light adds onto the scene as the fern covers the face of the cat. It makes it look mysterious and interesting to see.

ree

I took my dried starfish and put it in front of my salt lamp in the dark. The whole picture is very warm feeling and it’s got everything in a tone of orange. The angle, colouring and silhouette of a starfish brings this picture together.

ree

Here I took a panoramic photo of my vase with sticks in it. The angle is nice and there’s a pop of colour with the birds on the branches. The darkness on the bottom gives a nice shine.

ree

I have used this photo in a different assignment however I couldn’t not add it, I think it’s one of my best pictures yet. It’s got a small rainbow over some tiny flowers and there’s nice contrast. It wraps everything together perfectly.
